BrainHoney DLAP API Overview

Agilix BrainHoney provides the following capabilities for your institution:
- Ability to create/author and edit rich learning content that is more than just supplemental in nature, but provides a complete online learning experience
- Ability to distribute digital course content to students virtually anywhere that they can view with an Internet browser
- Manage a digital gradebook that is optimized for online mode and supports a streamlined workflow for higher teacher efficiency
- Enable instructors to give feedback to students on exams, assignments discussions and other gradable activities, which students can review in a rich gradebook
- Facilitate discussion threads, blogs, wikis, and journals that enable faculty and students to engage in topic-based discussions and interactions
BrainHoney APIs
BrainHoney supports the Distributed Learning Application Protocol (DLAP) for system integration and custom
learning-application development. The BrainHoney Web Server and other third-party applications
interact with the BrainHoney DLAP Server using the DLAP API. In fact, BrainHoney Web Server retrieves and stores
its application data using the DLAP API. You can use this same API to integrate or build your application with BrainHoney.
The focus of this manual is to outline the BrainHoney DLAP API. This manual is currently a work in progress. For many of the
APIs, sample code is provided.
